Located on top of a cliff, surrounded by the smell of pine trees and luminous sceneries, Hanging Gardens in Ubud offers selection of international dishes which you won’t expect to be served in the middle of a forest. From authentic eastern dishes to fancy western courses, you’ll love what you’ll taste here.

Here, you can enjoy a meal with in the calm, soothing private island (oops, I mean beach). This trip requires a gondola visit over Uluwatu’s exquisite marine and tropical sceneries. Definitely a good place to chill and drink some cocktails with your friends, without the rowdy crowd you’ll usually find in mainstream tourist areas. They serve amazing Pork Pizza as well!

When you want to enjoy the ambience of rural-esque landscape, including farms, farmers, fishermen (and seaweed fishermen), without the usual Bali traffic, Lembongan is definitely the city to go to. You can get here via speedboat from Sanur (won’t take more than 40 minutes). And don’t forget to try their best-selling carrot cake. Baked fresh with some cream cheese on top! YUM!

If you’re into a classical romantic dining experience, surrounded by wheat, farmers and typical suburban setting, then you should definitely experience dining in Metis (unless it’s raining). Dining wise, Metis offers a perfect balance of natural ingredient freshness and subtly-infused spices in their French-Mediterranean dishes. OH, and don’t forget to try their Legendary Pan Seared Hot Foie Gras. Imbued with the exquisite sweetness of wine, apple and cherries, this dish definitely lives up to its name!

Definitely regarded as one of the best sunset-viewing spot in Bali. Located on top of the cliff, you can enjoy the scenery of waves hitting cliffs, which gets louder as the sun is slowly fading away. Known for their authentic Indonesian food, you have to try their serving of the infamous Rendang. The softness of the beef combined with paste consisting plethora of spices (coconut milk, ginger, galangal, lemongrass, and many more) will leave you asking for more.
